Story Queens (Online / Zoom)
We are a "cameras on" group!
This is a friendly requirement for all our sessions. Seeing each other's faces (even if you're just looking at your keyboard!) is what builds our community and makes us feel like we're in a real, shared space.
1. Meet online. We meet at the set time in the Zoom room.
2. We Connect & 'Cheers'. We use the first 5-10 minutes to connect. We say "hello," share our one-sentence goal for the session.
3. We Write in Silence. The host sets the main timer and we begin our silent, focused writing.
4. We Celebrate the "Word-Count". When the timer goes off, the host leads a celebration of our word counts. We rotate our methods to keep it fun.
5. We Check Out. We say our goodbyes, feeling accomplished.
'Quiet Entry' Policy.
Our sessions start on time, but we understand life happens. If you arrive late, no problem! Just join the Zoom call with your microphone muted.
Simply settle in and start writing. There's no need to apologize or explain, just join the quiet focus.
